The devastation of the earthquake is widespread. News reports suggest that more than 40,000 are dead. More deaths are feared as hundreds of thousands face the imminent start of fierce Himalayan winter conditions without adequate shelter, food or medical assistance. APPNE asks the people of New England to donate generously.
APPNE is working closely in this fundraising effort with Pakistan Association of Greater Boston (PAGB), Pak-Millennium Conference (PMC), and other local civic and religious organizations.
